Since When is Montana a Swing State?

With only 24 hours to go, Montana has been projected as a swing state.

Obama has made more efforts in the usually solid Republican state. Obama has 40 paid field directors, over 14,000 volunteers and about 60 "stations" statewide. According to the Missoulian online, 300 local lawyers, on behalf of Obama, are scheduled to be at polling stations tomorrow to insure all eligible voters have the chance to do so. The campaign is also going to 2 major colleges and Indian reservations to hopefully round up more votes. Obama is once again out-spending McCain, but the Republican base seems to be confident in their voter turnout tomorrow.

MT has handed over their 3 electoral votes to the GOP ticket for the last 12 years. I still call this one a McCain win. I don't see this bright Red state changing anytime soon.
